If you are looking to buy a pair of luxury sneakers, this post is for you! I’ve got myself a decent little collection of luxury sneakers and in today’s post we are going to talk about the 4 most popular brands when it comes to luxury sneakers. Spoiler, I haven’t loved them all, but if you keep reading you will find out my top pick when it comes to luxury sneakers and which brand almost lost me for good. Enjoy!
Veja Sneakers
When it comes to luxury sneakers, Veja is a brand that is very well known. It’s no secret that this brand is popular amongst the celebrities making it a sought after brand. I have good new and bad news. The bad news is, I had a pair of Veja’s and I didn’t love them. I bought this pair and the tongue was so uncomfortable. I still gave them a fair chance and wore them for a while. I didn’t want to make a decision without giving them a fair shot and when it came down to it, they just weren’t for me. Everything else about the shoe was fine, but the tongue made them difficult to wear.
The good news is, I am willing to give the brand another chance. I am hoping that it was that specific style, so I do plan on ordering another pair. I really like the look of this pair and these are so cute. If you own a pair that you love(and are comfortable), let me know in the comments!!
On a scale of 1-10, I’d give them a 4 for comfort and 8 for style for this style(the pair I owned). I love the look. I love the classic and old school look. They really are a cute sneaker, which is why I am willing to give them another chance.
Gucci Sneakers
If we’re going to talk about luxury sneakers, we have to mention the Gucci Ace sneakers!! I feel like they had their moment and the hype has settled a little but they are still worth talking about. I’ve had this pair for several years now, I love the bee detail. They’ve been loved and very much appreciated but would I buy another pair…..no. Not because I regret buying them, but if you have one I feel like you have them all. The ace sneakers all look the exact same to me. Yes, there are subtle differences but not enough to have multiple pairs, IMO.
On a scale of 1-10, I’d give them a 7 for comfort and 6 for style. They are an old school bowling shoe vibe, but not in a bad way. With the right outfit, I love them, but they are definitely a look that’s for sure.
P448 Sneakers
Eeeekkk, okay, can we talk about P448?! These are my favorite luxury sneakers! They are seriously so comfortable and I love that even the same style of sneakers look so different from each other. You can literally have an entire collection of P448 sneakers and they all would give a different look. When it comes to comfort, P448 is the winner hands down. Bonus, the quality is amazing. On a scale of 1-10, I’d give them a 9.5 for comfort and 8-8.5 for style. I do like some style better than others but overall these are my top pick in general. I just love P448 sneakers so they make the top of my list!
Golden Goose Sneakers
Last but certainly not least, is Golden Goose luxury sneakers. These are the hottest sneakers in the luxury sneakers category for sure. There are so many styles, prints, fabrics and color options. If you find a pair that speaks to you, I recommend grabbing them because you may never see that exact style ever again. When it comes to comfort, this varies between styles IMO.
My first pair of Golden Goose sneakers were superstars and I hate to say, I didn’t love them. They were soooooo uncomfortable. I don’t have that exact pair anymore. I do have another pair of superstars and even though they are better, they are still at the bottom of my list from Golden Goose. The ball stars are my top style pick. They are my most comfortable pair of Golden Goose sneakers. The hi-star is second. They have a little platform, which is so cute and are very comfortable.
On a scale of 1-10, I’d give them a 7.5(I did an average of all the styles I have owned) for comfort and 9.5 for style. Look wise, they are my favorite. I just wish all the styles were consistent as far as comfort. Will I still continue to shop for Golden Goose, yes I will, but I will be aware that not all styles may be comfortable.
I own 3 pairs of Vejas: Campo, V10, and Recife. The Campo is so comfortable! I’ve worn it for hours and walked around town in them. Recife is similar in comfort as well, just a Velcro version. V10 is just flat and painful. Won’t buy that style again.
